Will there be any other care needed?
Your doctor may have you go see a therapist. They can help you learn new skills and help with your memory. The doctor may order:
- Occupational therapy ¢ To help you with skills and learning new knowledge
- Speech therapy ¢ To help with memory and speech skills
- Psychotherapy ¢ Can help you cope with your amnesia. Not being able to remember may cause you to have a feel sadness and distress. Talking with someone may help.
