- Go into a 3-phase diet plan: 1st phase (14 days) limits carbs and fruit, 2nd phase adds back fruit and whole grains, and the 3rd phase lets you to pick your foods but in moderation
- Limit carbs and fats
- Stay away from foods like bread, rice, potatoes, pasta, and fruit during the 1st phase of the diet
- Follow a strict menu
Volumetrics Eating Plan wants you to: ‚
- Be able to eat and drink anything you want and learn what are good choices
- Keep a food diary
- Stay within the calories allotted for you per day
- Each day you will eat 3 meals and snacks
- Stick to "low density foods like fruits, nonstarchy vegetables, non-fat milk, broth soups, and lean meats instead of "high-density" foods like crackers, chips, cookies, nuts, and butter.
If you can follow one of these diets, then that diet may be the best diet for you. Sticking to the rules of the diet will help you lose those extra pounds. Changing your eating behaviors will help you lose weight. ‚

- Eat your breakfast. Starting a day with a well-balanced meal can keep you from splurging on foods as you go through the day.

- Exercise. A 30 to 60 minute workout can help your body lose the extra weight.
