Routine Lab Tests

or "normal ranges. Normal ranges are set ranges from healthy or normal patient data using a number of people who have been tested in the same lab. Levels that fall outside these normal ranges could mean a health-related problem. A very small number of healthy people may fall outside of normal range while others with disease may fall within normal range. It will be up to your doctor to look at your test results and decide if more testing or care is needed. ‚
Some tests have specific patient orders that need to be followed to get a good result. Your doctor will tell you before being tested about any diet or liquid changes you need to make. Be sure to talk with your doctor if you have any questions about your testing orders. ‚
