Caffeine Level Monitoring

Why is this procedure done?

Caffeine level monitoring checks the levels of caffeine in your blood. The test is used to find out if the amount of caffeine you are taking is right for you. ‚
Drug level testing allows your doctor to see if you have too much or not enough of a drug in your blood. Some drugs may cause harm if there is too much in your body. If the drug is too low, it will not work the way it should. Sometimes, your doctor may order a drug level to see if you are taking the drug as ordered. ‚
Caffeine level monitoring is done to check your caffeine level: ‚
  • For a certain illness, to see if it is within a range that works well
  • To find out how well your body breaks down the drug
  • To see if other drugs you are taking change the level
